Angela Zampogna, RDH, is an experienced dental hygienist providing compassionate care to patients at Sapphire Dental Care in Oceanside, New York.
At only 15 years old, Angela entered the world of dentistry, working as a dental assistant in her hometown of Saint James, New York. Intrigued by her mother’s career as a hygienist and wishing to become more involved with patient care, Angela pursued an associate’s degree in dental hygiene at Farmingdale State College in Farmingdale, New York.
Soon after completing the program in May of 2007, she joined the team at Jacobskind Dental (now known as Sapphire Dental Care), where she has been practicing ever since.
In addition to being a skilled clinician, Angela excels at easing her patients’ anxieties about dental care. In her own words, “My goal is to eliminate patient fears so that patients can feel comfortable returning without hesitation.”
She prides herself on building strong and enduring relationships with her patients.
